Andy Reddig
Founder, President, and Chief Technology Officer
 As founder, president, and CTO, Andy leads the TEK Microsystems team. He is a veteran of the real-time embedded systems market and an expert in leading-edge I/O solutions. A forward-thinking visionary, Andy is committed to keeping Tekmicro on the leading edge of research and development. Under Andy's leadership, Tekmicro was the first supplier of RACEway-enabled I/O carrier boards in 1998, and FPGA-based fabric agnostic carrier boards in 2004 and has become a recognized expert and leader in that market. With the emergence of open standards, the company is now poised for growth with a pipeline of scalable, next-generation solutions. The 2005 strategic alliance between Tekmicro and world-class military developer QinetiQ, will continue to fuel Tekmicro’s significant growth.
As CTO, Andy leads Tekmicro's internal technical effort to plan and implement next-generation solutions. He is Tekmicro's technical representative to the RapidIO Trade Association, of which Tekmicro is a sponsoring member. Andy also represents Tekmicro at the VMEbus International Trade Association (VITA) and the VITA Standards Organization (VSO). For the VSO, Tekmicro is currently drafting VITA 42, the XMC specification for PMC I/O modules.
Andy holds degrees in both electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Paul Martino
Vice President, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support
As Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Customer support, Paul leads the functions most critical to TEK Microsystems’ revenue growth. He brings over 30 years of experience and an established track record of creating and leading sales and marketing organizations to success in this marketplace. Paul will continue to build the Company's worldwide sales and field applications organizations and expand distribution channels.
An embedded systems industry veteran, Mr. Martino has over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing and customer service. He has held leadership roles at Mercury Computer Systems, CETIA (now Thales Computers), DY4 / Ixthos (now part of Curtiss-Wright Embedded Systems), and SKY Computers.
Paul holds a BSEE from Northeastern University.
Dr. Bill Smith
Managing Director, TEK Microsystems Limited
Dr. Bill Smith is the managing director of TEK Microsystems' engineering and design center in Malvern, UK. The center develops the VXS-based products and cores originally designed by QinetiQ and now licensed to TEK Microsystems and provides customer support services for TEK Microsystems’ customers throughout Europe.
TEK Microsystems Limited continues the tradition of customer innovation and commitment that was established under the QinetiQ banner. Tekmicro now provides more VXS-based products than anyone in the embedded industry and we look forward to maintaining that leadership role.
Duncan Bosworth
Director of Engineering
As Director of Engineering, Duncan's focus is on developing new products that leverage TEK Microsystems’ systems-level architecture and on building the Company’s engineering team to keep pace with overall company growth. Duncan has a strong track record developing engineering organizations, processes, and managing resources to create world-class products. He and his team are responsible for delivering complete systems solutions for each customer program, working with engineering, operations and other departments to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
Most recently, Duncan held engineering leadership roles at QinetiQ, a one of the world's largest technology centric organizations.
Gerry Roth
Director of Operations
Mr. Roth, who reports to president/CTO Andrew Reddig, manages TEK Microsystems operations department, including production, purchasing, material, test, quality assurance and facilities.
Gerry has a successful track record of moving products from engineering to production and out to customers while maintaining the high quality and reliability our customers have come to expect from Tekmicro. His strengths in concurrent engineering, design for manufacturability and test, and system level product delivery are an excellent complement to our strengths in advanced product and system design. Gerry has held senior manufacturing positions at both defense and networking companies and has the right mix of experience and leadership to support Tekmicro's growth targets.
