Andrew Reddig
Founder, President, and Chief Technology Officer

As founder, president, and CTO, Andy Reddig leads the TEK Microsystems team. He is a veteran of the real-time embedded systems market and an expert in treaming I/O and processing solutions. A forward-thinking visionary, Andy is committed to keeping Tekmicro on the leading edge of research and development. Under Andy's leadership, Tekmicro was the first supplier of Virtex-6 based embedded boards in 2010, FPGA-based fabric agnostic carrier boards in 2004, and RACEway-enabled I/O carrier boards in 1998. He is a recognized expert and leader in the real-time signal acquisition, generation, processing and recording market.

As CTO, Andy leads Tekmicro's technical efforts to plan and implement next-generation solutions. Andy represents Tekmicro at the VMEbus International Trade Association (VITA) and the VITA Standards Organization (VSO).

Andy holds SB degrees in both electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


Chris Casey
Vice President, Engineering and Operations

Chris Casey leads the Company's engineering efforts, (including new product development), operations, (including production and purchasing), and quality assurance. His focus is on continuously enhancing Tekmicro’s record of outstanding customer service and technological leadership, rapidly developing new products to meet customer needs, and supporting significant growth.

Chris comes from iRobot, where his experience in market sector technology leadership and explosive company growth will support Tekmicro’s accelerated growth plans.

Chris holds an SBEE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


Lee Thompson
Controller

As Controller, Lee Thompson is responsible for leading the company’s finance team by overseeing all accounting and administration functions. Lee is responsible for directing all fiscal activities of the corporation in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and for providing the tools necessary for financial management of the company.

Lee has over 20 years experience in a variety of financial management positions. Before joining Tekmicro, Lee served as Controller for Grason Stadler, Inc., a leading manufacturer of hearing test equipment.

Lee holds a BS from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.


John Keefe
Manager, Operations and Purchasing
 
John Keefe’s dual responsibility of Operations and Purchasing give high level strategic focus to the complete operations cycle from developing partnerships with suppliers to procurement, to the production, test, quality compliance, and finally shipping of products. In addition, John works with Engineering on new product development and new product introduction plans. He has a successful track record of building relationships with suppliers to consistently meets quality, delivery and cost targets.

Prior to Tekmicro, John was purchasing manager at Radiowaves, Inc.


Dr. Bill Smith
Managing Director, TEK Microsystems Limited

Dr. Bill Smith is the managing director of TEK Microsystems' engineering design center in Malvern, UK. The Malvern group was established in 2006 when Tekmicro first licensed the QuiXilica family of products from QinetiQ and is now a fully integrated part of the Tekmicro engineering team. Under Bill’s leadership, the Malvern group continues to create innovative signal acquisition, processing and recording products to address customer requirements. The Malvern group also provides support to Tekmicro’s European customers.

Bill holds a BEng and PhD in Electronic Engineering from the University of Sheffield, UK.
