TEK MICROSYSTEMS EXPANDS SALES OPERATIONS IN EUROPE
Techway S.A.S. To Sell and Market Tekmicro Product Lines in France
Chelmsford MA March 10, 2005 – TEK Microsystems, Inc. of Chelmsford MA today announced an exclusive agreement with Techway S.A.S. of GIF sur Yvette, Cedex France. Techway, the leading distributor of high performance embedded systems in France, will sell, market, and support all of TEK Microsystems’ product lines including the new Jazz family of VXS-based boards and systems.

TEK Microsystems recently announced the new JazzStream Family, the first family of products to combine the VXS and XMC standards with the PCI Express switched fabric interconnect on a VME 6U platform. The new JazzStream delivers unprecedented bandwidth, scalability and throughput for building high performance embedded computing systems. Applications such as signal intelligence, UAV’s, control processing, fire control systems and ground vehicles can achieve an immediate 4:1 reduction in required I/O board count, leaving slots available for additional processing power.
To start the new relationship, Techway will be exhibiting at the RTS 2005 show in Paris on April 5th - 7th where representatives from Tekmicro and QinetiQ will be available to discuss our integrated solutions with potential customers in France.
